Radisson Hotel Szklarska Poręba

A beautiful modern hotel with a newly equipped room. Everything always clean and tidy. I really appreciate the opening hours of the gym - 24 hours a day, and the playroom for children from 8 to 9. I would only complain about two things: 1) the heating in the room, which only turns on when you move, so you always return to the cold, which isn’t very pleasant at the end of October. 2) The capacity of the hotel does not fully correspond to the capacity of the pool and restaurant. The pool is very beautiful, but it is always crowded. The same in the restaurant, where despite the relatively long time interval for breakfast and dinner, there often isn’t place to sit down and, above all, the staff does not have time to replenish either the food or the clean dishes. Also, be prepared for high prices at the bar, cocktails from 28 to 38 zł, soft drinks around 20 zł, beer too, small dessert 20-25 zł.

Really nice hotel with clean and nice rooms and nice view from balcony, even when you are not on the side with view to mountains. Food was really good, we both enjoyed variety of meat and cheeses. Also sauna and swimming pool were clean and when we went there during dinner time, we had basically private sauna for 1.5hour. One minor objection maybe was, that i would expect within wellness hotel to provide slippers in the rooms. Otherwise no objections

I’d say it’s the nicest hotel in the entire place (though, to be fair, I’ve seen others only from the outside). The town is actively being built - that’s why you can expect some construction sites nearby if you book the regular rooms without that mountain views, stayed there between 21.05 and 28.05, loved the breakfasts, however the dinner menu is a bit limited

Almost perfect, overall highly recommended. Two nights, two adults, half-board, superior room with mountain view. There were one major and two minor critical points which led me to give 4 out of 5 stars, while I would prefer a rating of 4,5 stars. All the positive below. Major critical: the swimming pool was used for swimming lessons for local kids both afternoons (Tuesday and Wednesday) we stayed in the hotel (at least in the time between 4 and 6pm). My criticism is not that this happens (it seems to be a good way of making use of this available pool), but that it was not communicated at all (I think the spa area is managed not by the hotel itself). The kids were cute, the parents were very respectful as well, and only half the pool was used, so everything was accessible for hotel guests. Nevertheless, the whole swimming pool area did not have a relaxing atmosphere during this time but rather that of a public pool. Minor critical: i) the bathroom was very small. ii) during dinner, the atmosphere could be improved by e.g. different lighting, decorative elements, spacing of tables; it feels like breakfast (busy/bright), not really inviting/restaurant-style Positive, basically everything else: Friendly service Great food (we had breakfast & dinner / buffet) Everything clean, modern Spacious room Fantastic mountain view Location is great if you are travelling by car The spa/pool area is great with two pools, an outdoor whirlpool and a water slide with a time measurement system (my best: 6.45 sec ;-) )
